Quiet workspace with pet bowls and a folded blanket in natural light

About Paws & Co.

A small shop for the household pet

We started with a stack of hand-thrown bowls and a stubborn belief that the things our animals eat, sleep, and play with should be as well made and safe as anything else in the home.

Our story

Paws & Co. began at a market stall in Seongsu-dong in the spring of 2021. We had a handful of weighted stoneware bowls from a small studio in Icheon, a folding table, a very patient dog, and no real plan beyond sharing gear we genuinely trusted. By the end of that first weekend the table was empty, and we realised other pet owners were looking for the same thing we were — supplies made properly, by people who cared.

Everything we carry is chosen the same way today. We work directly with a small circle of makers — a ceramicist in Icheon, a textile workshop outside Seoul, a natural-rubber toymaker — and we trial everything with our own animals before it reaches the shelf. If our own dogs and cats wouldn't use it happily for years, it doesn't make the cut.

We believe in buying less and choosing well. A single sturdy bowl and a bed your animal actually sleeps in are worth more than a cupboard of half-chewed things nobody loved. That is the quiet idea behind the whole range, and it's the invitation we extend to you: build a calmer home for your household, one honest object at a time.

What we stand for

Three things we won't compromise on

Made to survive

We favour small workshops and tough materials over flimsy factory goods. A bowl should outlast the puppy phase and a bed should hold its shape after a hundred naps.

Safe and natural

Lead-free glazes, non-toxic dyes, natural rubber, and plastic-free packaging. We'd rather sell you one safe thing that lasts than ten cheap ones you have to keep replacing.

Made to be used

Nothing here is too precious for a real animal. These are things for muddy paws, enthusiastic dinners, and the ordinary Tuesday chaos of living with someone who has four legs.
