Our best-loved products started with a single messy morning — a wobbling bowl, food across the floor, a dog underfoot. The weighted ceramic bowl was the first thing we made, thrown by a small studio in Icheon and shaped so it stays put no matter how enthusiastic breakfast gets.
A steady bowl and a bed they actually sleep in are often enough to make the whole house calmer. We choose gear the way you'd choose your own — for the long haul, and for how it makes an ordinary Tuesday with a needy animal feel a little more in hand.
